Tyler Ledford

Tyler Ledford, age 59 passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his home in Broken Bow, OK. He was born on October 29, 1963 in Portland, OR.

Tyler was known as a man of few words but his actions spoke volumes about his love, devotion, and faithfulness to God, his family, and friends.

Tyler married the love of his life, Sarah Ledford June 4, 1982 in Broken Bow, OK. They shared 41 years 4 months together hand in hand. Together they had one son, Blaise Ledford and one daughter, Schyler Thomas and 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Tyler was proud to serve his country in the Air Force. After his military service he worked several years for Weyerhauser as a millwright. Tyler loved hunting, fishing, baseball, and the outdoors but above all his family and friends.

In his youth Tyler was a standout on the baseball field, especially on the pitcher’s mound where his fastball and screwball were hard to touch. As an adult he enjoyed sharing this talent coaching youth baseball.

Tyler was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. His family was everything to him and they will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Euba Nell Ledford; and a brother, Danny Ledford.

Tyler is survived by his wife, Sarah Ledford of the home; father, Sonny Ledford of Broken Bow, OK; son, Blaise Ledford and Karli Hobson of Broken Bow, OK; daughter, Schyler Thomas and Chris of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Levi Ledford, Hunter Bohannon, Kirbie Ledford and Westin Queen, Jasper Ledford, Koralise Thomas and Kacie Hobson; a great-granddaughter, Reighney Queen; sister, Tammy Grant and Jr. of Broken Bow, OK; sister-in-law, Karla Ledford Smith and Sheila Herring and Ronnie; brothers-in-law, Terry Adams, Tom Adams and Jackie and Marvin “Red” Hill and Heather; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Pine Top Cemetery in Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Doug Deramus officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Good News Fellowship Church in Broken Bow, OK.
