Vicky Lin Jennings Dalton

Vicky Lin Jennings Dalton, age 69 passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home in Haworth, OK. She was born on November 25, 1955 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Charles and Mildred Holder Jennings.

Vicky was an avid Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs football fan. She enjoyed the challenge of working word puzzles which she tackled with determination and joy. Vicky could often be found in her kitchen, baking cookies for her children and grandchildren. She found peace in watching the birds outside her home, taking pleasure in the simple beauty of nature.

Above all, Vicky loved her family and cherished spending time with them. Whether it was enjoying meals together, or simply being present, her family was her greatest treasure.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mildred Louise Jennings; grandparents, Hazel Louise Johnson and Will & Mary Jennings.

Vicky is survived by her husband Emmett Dalton III of the home; father, Charles Jennings and wife, Jimmie of Houston, TX; daughters, Melissa Istre of Idabel, OK, Christina Boutwell of Houston, TX, Jessica Dalton of Haworth, OK, Tiffany Dalton of Magnolia, TX; brothers, Roy Jennings, Charles G. Jennings; sister, Pat Jones; grandchildren, Shawn, Kaitlin, Rachel, Lindsey, Karina, Rayna, Christian, Julianna, Jaxson, Haileyann, Calli, Michaelangelo, Summer; one great-grandchild; Sage; one niece; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the White Family Funeral Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Pollard Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7: 00 pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the funeral home.
