Victoria "Vicki" Mergel

Victoria “Vicki” Bernice Mergel, age 49 passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on March 24, 1976, in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Ronnie Dee Goldsmith and Kathy Darlene Frunk.

Vicki enjoyed playing bingo at the VFW, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also had a hobby of collecting Baby Yoda memorabilia.

 She was preceded in death by her grandparents Raymond & Gloria Morgan; her father, Ronnie Goldsmith; brother, Bobby Goldsmith; sister, Barbara Jean; and stepmother, Karen Goldsmith.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Jesse Mergel, Idabel, OK; mother, Kathy Frunk and Gary, Idabel, OK; sons, Lee Mergel and Meranda of Goodwater, OK, Jesse Mergel, Jr. and Susan of Golden, OK; daughtera, Amber Kessler and Matt of Holly Creek, OK, Kaia Folmer and Austin of Poetry, TX; siblings, Ronnie Goldsmith of North Carolina, Gloria Smith of Idabel, OK, Jackie Morgan of Houston, TX, Chris Frunk of Wright City, Joe Frunk of Idabel, OK, Jeremy Frunk of Idabel, OK, Mildred Chamberlain of Mesquite, TX, Carron Bobien of Arlington, TX; nine grandchildren, Zackery, Brier, Neveah, Rilee, Clayton, Aubrey, Alton, James, and Mary; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the funeral home.
