Vince Thomas

Vince Thomas, age 79 of Eagletown, OK passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Texarkana, TX. He was born July 20, 1946 in Boston, MA, the son of Vincent Albert Thomas Sr. and Helen Arnold Thomas. Vince upon coming to Oklahoma, met and fell in love with Geraldine Hill and made his home here for the last 40 years.

Vince worked as a carpenter in residential construction for many years and was also a veteran of the US Army. Vince was extremely gifted at needle point and made many beautiful pieces over the years. He loved to listen to and share old music and watching old movies. He enjoyed putting models together, hunting and fishing. Vince loved most of all, spending time with his family, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geraldine Hill; a son, Ray Farrand; and a son-in-law, Tyler Ledford. 

Vince is survived by his children, Terry Adams of Broken Bow, OK, Tom Adams and Jackie Collins of Broken Bow, OK, Marvin and Heather Hill of Eagletown, OK, Sarah Ledfrord of Broken Bow, OK and Shelia and Ronnie Herring of Broken Bow, OK; a sister, Patricia Thomas Fuller of Hudson, MA; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Forest Hill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the funeral home.
