Virgil Lewis Obituary

Virgil Lewis, age 58 passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on August 31, 1961 in Tulare, CA.

Virgil was a veteran of the US Army. He was a very patriotic person and collected Eagles and Flags. Virgil enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Virgil was a Christian and was affiliated with Pentecostal Holiness. He was a lifetime resident of Idabel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Altus Lewis; brothers, Darnell Lewis and Wayne Brown; and a sister, Eva Hanson.

Virgil is survived by his mother, Wanda Lewis of Idabel, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Caran Brown of Idabel; a sister, Wanda Burke of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be private.
