Walonda MeChelle Blakely Obituary

Walonda MeChelle Blakely, age 45, of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Idabel. She was born on May 9, 1974 in Talihina, OK.

MeChelle worked for the Idabel Public Schools in the cafeterias for several years. She enjoyed fishing and facebooking with her friends. Michelle loved watching babies for everyone and always had a smile on her face. She was a lifetime resident of Idabel.

MeChelle will be missed as a mother, sister, daughter, wife, aunt and co-worker to many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Wesley; brothers, Larry Wesley Jr. and Lee Wesley.

MeChelle is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Blakely of Idabel, OK; father, Larry Wesley Sr. of Idabel, OK; special stepfather, Myron Royal of Idabel, OK; son, Thomas Blakely of Idabel, OK; step-children, Latasha Cox, Nathaniel Blakely, Sharun Scott, Tanesha Blakely and Monique Combs all of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister Noka Avery of Idabel, OK; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In honoring MeChelle's wishes no services will be held.
