Wanda E Buller

Wanda Buller, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at her home in the Holly Creek Community, OK. She was born on December 18, 1932 in Bessie, OK, the daughter of Menno and Bertha Megert Schmidt.

Wanda was a homemaker and also helped her husband on the family farm. She taught piano lessons for many years and held numerous recitals for her students over the years. Wanda also worked for a few years for Ernest and Delma Whisenhunt in their insurance office. She had lived in the Holly Creek Community since 1963 coming from Fairview, OK.

Wanda was a long-time member of Grace Assembly Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a devout Christian and it was her burden to see children in Church and developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Her deep concern for children was expressed with the many hours she spent driving young children to and from Church and other activities.

Wanda had a deep love for her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be greatly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleophas Buller; brother and sister-in-law, Jonah and Arlene Schmidt; and infant great-grandchildren, Caspen and Cutter.

Wanda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Loretha and Jerry Edmondson of Plato, MO; foster daughter, Maria Richardson and husband, Mark of Lebanon, MO; grandchildren, Carman and Tiffany Williams of the Holly Creek Community, OK, Vashti and Jasper Osborn of Holdenville, OK, Abigail Richardson and Aiden Richardson both of Lebanon, MO; great-grandchildren, Carmany and Crockett Williams both of the Holly Creek Community, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel, OK with Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
