Wanda Lou Coffman

Wanda Lou (Shields) Coffman, age 82 of Idabel, OK passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on January 12, 1942 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Jack and Johnnie Mae Williams

One of her favorite pastimes was making jelly and jam for her family and friends. She spent many hours sharing stories with her loved ones. Wanda loved her children and grandchildren with a passion and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Johnnie (Tollison) Williams; first husband, Shelby Shields; brothers, Roy Williams, Charles Williams, George Williams; sisters, Mary Bryant and Donnie Spence; second husband, Billy Ray Coffman; son, Michael Shields.

Wanda is survived by her children, Ricky Shields and Anjanette of Garvin, OK, Vickie Franks and Ronald of Idabel, OK, Connie Taylor and Rick of Gladewater, TX, Gennie Campbell and Jerry of Millerton, OK, Kevin Clark and Stephanie of Idabel, OK, Bobby Clark and Maria of Greenville, TX; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Shields of Idabel, OK; sisters, Oleta Bryant of Idabel, OK, Edna Carter of Pittsburg, TX, Regina White and Jimmy of Canton, TX; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children, her special companion dog, “B.B”; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Valliant Cemetery in Valliant, OK with Bro. Harvey Wayne Freeman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the funeral home.
