Wanda Lewis

Wanda Lee Lewis, age 86 of Idabel, OK passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Durant, OK. She was born on September 14, 1936 in Zoe, OK, the daughter of John and Martha Storey Spence.

Wanda was a homemaker. She was a longtime faithful member of Grace Assembly Church. Wanda enjoyed attending church, county singings and going to auctions and garage sales.

Wanda was a strong independent Christian woman who was devoted to her Lord, her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Altus Lewis; sons, Wayne Brown, Darnell Lewis and Virgil Lewis; and a daughter, Eva Hanson.

Wanda is survived by her son, Roy Brown and Caren of Idabel, OK; daughter, Wanda Burke of Idabel, OK; sister, Catherine Ingram of Idabel, OK; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel, OK with Bro Kyle Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
