Wayne Lanham

           Wayne “Junior” Lanham III, age 57 passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home in Idabel, OK. Wayne was born on February 8, 1964 in Heidelberg, Germany, the son of Wayne Brewer Lanham II and Patsy Ochoa Lanham.

            He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Contreras and his sister Frances Nanez.

            Wayne is survived by his wife; Frieda Jones-Lanham, of the home; mother, Patsy Lanham and Armando Ortega of Idabel, OK; father, Wayne Lanham II of Finger, TX; two sons, Wayne Brewer Lanham IV of Mena, AR, Brandon Lanham and Iris of Carrollton, TX; one daughter, Cassandra Leann Lanham of Mena, AR; brother, Bobby Lanham and Jackie of Idabel, OK; three sisters, Joann Hernandez of Idabel, OK, Patricia Contreras of Dallas, TX and Kathy Carter and David of Garvin, OK; three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

            A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
