Wayne Brewer Lanham Jr

Wayne Brewer Lanham, age 82, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Garvin, OK. Wayne was born May 23, 1943 in Rosedale, MS to Wayne Brewer Lanham, Sr. and Ethel Juanita Lanham.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran who retired after 26 years. He enjoyed working on tractors and Ford trucks. He was an avid outdoorsman who spent countless hours fishing.

Wayne cherished his family and loved spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jr. Lanham, daughter, Francis Lanham; brothers, William Lanham, David Lanham, Ray Lanham.

Wayne is survived by his son, Bobby Lanham of Idabel, OK; daughters, Kathy and David Carter of Garvin, OK, JoAnn Hernandez of Mt. Pleasant, TX; wife, Patsy Lanham; brothers, Walter Lanham of Fayetteville, AR, Charles Lanham of Jackson, TN, Larry Lanham of Fayetteville, AR, John Baker of Bauxite, AR, Paul Baker of Bauxite, AR; sisters, Juanita Claybourne of Columbus, MS, Jeanie Lambert and Quitman of Columbus, MS; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family received friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Funeral Home. 

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Denison Cemetery.
