Wilburn Eugene Dollarhide, age 87, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at his home in Idabel, OK. Wilburn was born on March 30, 1938 in Redland, OK, the son of Martin and Rosie Dollarhide. On July 30, 1955, Wilburn married Bobbie Sue Chapman in Durant, OK.
Wilburn enjoyed the simple things in life. He spent many hours working in his shop on whatever project needed his attention. He was one of those avid outdoorsmen that was always looking forward to the next hunting or fishing trip. His extra time was spent watching The Cowboy Channel, because he was a huge fan of rodeos. Wilburn was a member of the Redland Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Winford “Pete” Dollarhide, Homer Dollarhide, Harold Dollarhide; sisters, Louise Thompson, Sue Wingate, Denver Dollarhide; brother-in-law, Kenneth Mowery and sister-in-law, JoAnn Mowery.
Wilburn is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bobbie Sue Dollarhide; sons, Danny Eugene Dollarhide, Jerry Dollarhide and Gail; sister, Geneva Hudspeth and Sonny of St. Jo, TX; grandchildren, Carrie, Jill, Jeremy, Nathan, Blake, Brandon, Brianna, Benjamin; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Mark Mowery; niece, Shelly Rhoten; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
