Wileen Clawson

Wileen Clawson, age 66 of Idabel, OK passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Idabel, OK. She was born on August 6, 1957 in Paris, TX, the daughter of William and Louise Gregg.

Wileen enjoyed camping and fishing as a young girl with her family. She was a Paraprofessional for Idabel Public Schools for many years.

Wileen was a member of First Christian Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She loved her daughter and grandchildren with a passion and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Louise Gregg and her brother, Michael Riley Gregg.

Wileen is survived by her daughter, Karri Deater and Brandon Taylor of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Avery Byington of Brea, CA, Michael Riley Deater of Idabel, OK, Adison Grace Chapman of Idabel, OK; sister, Cheryl Lynn Lowery and Richard of New Braunfels, TX and her forever friend, Peggy Carden of Idabel, OK; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK with Steve Endsley officiating.
