Willa Faye (Burney) Bone

Willa Faye Burney Bone, age 94 passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Burleson, TX. She was born on June 3, 1925 in Cerro Gordo, OK.

Willa was a devoted mother who was much beloved by all of her children and grandchildren. Willa was a nurse for over thirty years, working both in hospitals and clinics. She was an avid gardener, and loved to harvest and can her fruits and vegetables. She loved cats and dogs and was a skilled bird watcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Pearl Burney; her husband, Warren Bone; and son, Ronnie Roden.  

Willa is survived by her sons, Charles Bone and wife, Carol of Boswell, OK, James Bone and wife, Elaine of Weatherford, TX, Bobby Bone and wife, Linda of Hugo, OK and Danny Click of Burleson, TX; her daughter, Judie McClure of Itasca, TX; stepson, Steve Bone and stepdaughter. Patty Jamison; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the State Line Baptist Church in Cerro Gordo, AR. Interment will follow at the Cerro Gordo Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday morning January 8, 2020 at the funeral home.
