Wynell (Medders) Harrison

Wynell Harrison, age 91 longtime Haworth, OK resident passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Idabel, OK. She was born on October 10, 1934, in Cordell, OK, the daughter of Floyd and Lucy Keller Medders.

Wynell with her husband, Sonny Harrison moved to McCurtain County in 1974 to operate the Pecan Point Ranch and did so until his passing in 2003.

Wynell enjoyed spending time with her friends at Foss Lake and taking cruises with family and friends. She was affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sonny Harrison; a daughter, Vicki Tosh; and a grandson, Ryan Wesley Harrison.

Wynell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Deanna Harrison of Tom, OK; son-in-law, Terry Tosh of Canute, OK; grandchildren, Casey Lynn Harrison, Kevin Tosh and Julie Lewis; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Skyler Tosh, Brecken Lewis, Cadence Lewis, Addison Lewis, Stetsyn Harrison and Stevie Mae Harrison; great-great-grandchild, Winslow Tosh; brothers, Darrel Medders of Kansas, OK and Delford Medders of Rocky, OK; sisters, Nela Hall and Edna Mosiman both of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and over 30 foster children Wynell and her husband helped raise over the years.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the White Family Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service at the chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Carnegie Cemetery in Carnegie, OK.
